Clay sealant and 24-place holding tray for all types of microhematocrit capillary tubes.

This capillary tube sealing tray contains a unique wax compound that quickly forms a leak-tight seal. Non-toxic, non-drying and non-hardening, the sealant is formulated to withstand centrifugation. There is no need for plastic caps or heat sealing. The tray has 24 numbered places for easy patient identification.

A hard, brittle wax orange in color useful for sealing crystals in glass capillaries.  When applied properly, Capillary Wax will provide an airtight seal. Also referred to as sticky wax even though it is not sticky at room temperature.
